Welcome to the FYI Club, a business referral and coupon service run by FYI Club, Incorporated. By registering as a member and using the FYI Club you agree to these Terms of Use (this “Agreement”). If you wish to become an FYI Club member and use the FYI Club web site, please read these Terms of Use carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, then please do not use the FYI Club web site. Intended Use: I understand that FYI Club is intended as a tool to help its members. Further, I recognize that I should never depend on a single tool, but rather use all tools available to me and then depend only on my own common sense in making a hiring decision.
I understand that the list is based entirely on the opinions of FYI Club members, and that FYI Club makes no predictions, warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, about the quality of any of the work a service company may provide; nor is FYI Club under any duty to investigate the quality of work performed by a service company on the list.
I understand that FYI Club does not accept any liability whatsoever for any harm that might result from any statements presented on the list.
Finally, I understand that all statements concerning insurance, licenses, etc. are informational only, and are self-reported by the service companies. Since insurance and licenses can expire and can be cancelled, I should always check such information for myself.
Providing Vendor Feedback: By providing feedback on vendors I agree that my reports will be completely truthful and were my experiences for the stated date. The reports that I submit will be submitted within six (6) months from the completion of the services provided. I will only provide 1 report in a six (6) month period per provider and sub-category.
I agree that will not submit reports for companies that I work for, or am related to in any way.
I also agree that the information that I submit on my feedback reports is mine alone and that FYI Club bears no responsibility whatsoever for statements made by me or anyone acting on my behalf. I agree to defend and indemnify FYI Club if it is finally determined that the reporting information I provided to FYI Club was false and inaccurate.
I confirm that I do not work for, am not in competition with, or in any way related to the service companies for which I submit reports. Violation of this policy will result in the deletion of my report and may result in the termination of my membership by FYI Club.
I understand that my name and report information will be made available to the service companies on which I report.
I understand that all reports and their content submitted to FYI Club shall be deemed and remain the property of FYI Club and FYI Club shall be free to use, for any purpose, any content, ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained therein.
Changing Vendor Feedback: I understand that I may elect to alter, update or withdraw a report related to a service experience. A request to alter a report may be made through the FYI Club Web site (www.fyiclub.com).
I understand that if FYI Club determines (based on their sole discretion) that my report is offensive due to (but not limited to) references to race, religion, profanity, drugs, hearsay, acts of a sexual nature or acts of a criminal nature, FYI Club may delete any such feedback reports without notice.
Membership Expiration when membership dues are paid by Credit Card: Monthly Payment Plan: I understand that each month, FYI Club will renew my membership at the prevailing monthly rate using the credit card on file. These monthly renewal payments will take place on my expiration date. I will not receive reminder notices prior to each monthly renewal payment. If I wish to cancel my membership, my request must be received no later than noon eastern time two days prior to my scheduled renewal payment. Annual Payment Plan: I understand that I will receive a reminder notice approximately two months prior to my expiration date. This notice will remind me that FYI Club will renew my membership at the prevailing annual rate using the credit card on file unless I submit a cancellation request prior to the scheduled renewal date. If the first attempt to renew my membership fails, an auto renewal program will attempt to process my renewal for approximately 90 days. I may opt out of the auto renewal program by contacting FYI Club e-mail.
I understand that FYI Club reserves the right, at any time, to change its fees and billing methods at any time and will post those changes at www.fyiclub.com. If any such change is unacceptable to me, I may cancel my membership.
If FYI Club terminates your membership in the Service because you have breached this Agreement, you will not be entitled to any refund of unused subscription fees.
Eligibility: You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to register as a member of FYI Club.
Privacy: Use of the Website and services is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Limitation on Liability; Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will FYI Club be liable to you or any third person for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, including also lost profits arising from your use of the Web site or the Service, even if FYI Club has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, FYI Club’s liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to FYI Club for the Service during the term of membership.
Right to Modification: IFYI Club reserves the right to add, delete or modify any of the aspects of the Member Agreement at any time. All changes to the FYI Club Membership Agreement will be posted on their Web site at www.fyiclub.com/terms.aspx.
Acceptance of Term and Use Agreement: By accessing the FYI Club Website or becoming a Member, you consent to have this Agreement provided to you in electronic form. I understand that if I fail to abide by these terms and conditions FYI Club may, in its sole and absolute discretion, take certain actions to address the situation, including the termination of my membership.
